Whether you’ve had your adorable cat for a long time now, or she’s developed some sort of disorder that impairs her movement, it’s important to consider making decisions such as getting her diapers. Cleanliness isn’t the only thing on the line here, although it is pretty important to make sure that you don’t have to wash your rugs and carpets too often.
For a cat, however, the act of losing control or not being able to get to the litter box on time can be pretty stressful, and added to her possible health problems, that’s not a good recipe for recovery.
The signs associated with knowing when to get your cat diapers will be pretty clear. You might notice that she has difficulty when going to the litter box. She could even spend less time in certain areas of the house for fear of losing bowel control. For aging cats, diapers are a necessity, as they can no longer move as easily as they used to.
Also, certain disorders such as arthritis could be better helped by the use of diapers even if they aren’t so advanced yet. It can be a good idea to get your feline companion used to diapers in advance, for example, just in case the treatment isn’t as effective as you might expect and her condition starts to deteriorate.
